The theme for 2018 is the Four Noble Truths.

Everyone attending, young and old, is expected to understand and live by the five precepts for the duration of the event.
The Five Precepts are:
1. Not Intentionally harming living beings
2. Not taking what does not belong to you
3. Not indulging in sexual misconduct
4. Not using speech to harm or lie
5. Not taking recreational drugs or alcohol
Amaravati Family Events reserves the right to cancel any bookings that are deemed unsuitable or inappropriate.
BOOKing YOUR PLACE
Rainbows, June Weekend and Family Camp
There is one application form that can be used for any of these three events.
We can accommodate approx. 60 people at Rainbows and June Weekend; 90 people at the Summer Camp. There is a need to balance continuity in the running of these 3 events with reaching out to new people who wish to attend. To achieve this a number of places are allocated to those with previous experience of family events and for the coordinators. Other places are reserved for new families, and are allocated by a 'picking out of the hat' system. No-one is excluded if they are unable to make a financial donation.
The deadline for receipt of the booking forms for these three events is the 31st March 2018.
Young Persons Retreat
There are a maximum of 25 places on the Young Persons' retreat. These are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Young people who are between 13 and 19 years old at the time of the retreat can apply.
Creative Retreat Bookings
The Creative Weekend 2018 theme is 'Perception'. There are a maximum of 20 places available. This retreat is for those 18 years and over.
