Family Camp

Amaravati Buddhist Monastery is fully committed to safeguarding the welfare of all children and young people. It recognises its responsibility to take all reasonable steps to promote safe practice and to protect children from harm, abuse and exploitation regardless of age, gender, disability, culture, language, racial origin, religious beliefs or sexual identity.

 

The Child protection policy has been reviewed by the Hertfordshire Safeguarding board and a new policy is on line.

There is now a code of conduct which is to support the Child protection policy and will be used to clarify what is expect of retreat center managers/helpers and monastics supporting the family events read it here
